The moving the reel to a jackpot won't work. If the RNG code doesn't match the reel position it will send a Null command of VOID. This might work on the old electric mechanical machines, but not the Random number generators that have to line up with the reel or Void payout. Even right now with my old 1984 machine it voids out. None of the cheating devices allows the machine to payout after a reel is spun. Most cheating devices are to trick the machine to empty the hopper, no playing involved. Or you can try and re-print a ticket to add credits. <~ this would be your best avenue, because the eye in the sky will only see you placing money in a machine. To Win by Reel jackpot you must first bet and then spin. If you move the reels by hand to a jackpot and the RNG number is different, The machine locks up on Void. While in void it has a system to notify floor bosses\surveillance, if hooked up. The guy that opens the machine story doesn't sound true, for one reason. When i open a machine on the floor of a casino it sends a signal and Flashes a Blue light above the machine to get the attention of anyone working and notify surveillance. Even if i close the machine is will now Flash a red light telling people this machine was opened and now closed. These newer machine today, will send booking keeping info when i open the machine. This system keeps the people opening it honest.. With machines no longer taking coins and the bill hopper having it's own circle key lock, your only hope is to fake a ticket for credits more then whats on the ticket. Opening the machine will get you busted pretty fast today, if your not certain crew.
